Raspbmc Terminal
Hi All

VERY NOOB question, but how do I get a terminal window up in Raspbmc to enable root access, copy files etc?

You can ssh in from another PC (do a google search to find out how/what ssh is) or you can close XBMC and hit the Esc key at the white screen. You can also ftp in to transfer files (again Google is your friend) username is pi, password is raspberry for ssh or ftp.

I dont have any credentials to use to ssh into the xbmc, the root account is disabled by default i've read..

Thanks Mike! That got that part done. Now I just need to get my wifi adaptor working...but thats another story.

Select exit from xbmc menu :

when the screen turns white press "Esc" on the keyboard.
