[HOW-TO] Downgrade to the official Eden build
At the moment, PVR support is included. If you wish to just use the vanilla Eden build, you can do so by following these instructions:

SSH in or using a keyboard login with atv:atv, the default username and password.

Type ./configure and enter atv as the password when prompted to do so.

Navigate to XBMC and put this URL in the dialogue:

http://download.stmlabs.com/bin/builds/x...1.0.tar.gz

Press enter.

Reboot after the operation completes

RE: [HOW-TO] Downgrade to the official Eden build
Sam, I tried to downgrade as I don't use PVR and it said not found.

Code:
Downloading tarball
--05:59:13--  http://download.stmlabs.com/bin/builds/x...1.0.tar.gz
           => `x...1.0.tar.gz'
Resolving download.stmlabs.com... 87.106.137.136
Connecting to download.stmlabs.com|87.106.137.136|:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found
05:59:13 ERROR 404: Not Found.

Extracting *.tar.gz
tar: *.tar.gz: Cannot open: No such file or directory
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
cp: cannot stat `usr': No such file or directory
Build installed, rebooting system

Wrong url:
Code:
http://download.stmlabs.com/bin/builds/x...1.0.tar.gz

Try this one:
Code:
http://download.stmlabs.com/bin/builds/xbmc-atv/builds/xbmc-11.0.tar.gz

Should I have to downgrade after every update, if I don't want PVR support ?

Thanks for the link. Unless there will be an option to disable PVR support, we will probably need to downgrade after every update.

RE: [HOW-TO] Downgrade to the official Eden build
The problem is now that I am ready to try updating my Eden build to the Frodo again. Rather than updating my current library again, it's using the old library that it updated the last time I tested Frodo, which is very out of date. My guess on fixing it, is to downgrade back to Eden (which I have already done). Then delete the library that was created by Frodo the last time, & update again so that it updates my current video library instead of using the one it created last time. But I am uncertain which MYSQL library to delete. The log file of XBMC Eden does not seem to show the name of the MYSQL library that it is using.

RE: [HOW-TO] Downgrade to the official Eden build
Hi, my Eden build had got curropted over time so I thought I would format and reinstall again from usb. I first tried new frodo release but has too many bugs to run reliably for me so was wondering how i recompile my usb to erase and reinstall eden release?

I thought i had done it with the following but it seemed to start from usb and do its thing so i left it for an hour and came back to it to see it had installed frodo again.

curl -O http://download.stmlabs.com/atv-images/i...ler.img.gz
gunzip installer.img.gz
sudo dd if=usb.img of=/dev/disk7

tried ssh but seems frodo release wont let me ssh into it from my mac via terminal.
