How to connect rasbmc through wifi? [Solved]
I guess this question would have asked by so many. But i am not able to find any clear answers in the forum.

My adapter is Netgear WNA1000M and it works well with wheezy.

I dont see any option to scan for my network in raspbmc. Please asist.

Download and install the program add-on called 'network manager'. You then perform wifi setup via that.

Question again. How do i install it? Through GUI? I dont see Add-on menu under Programs.

Just click on program's and then in the next screen I think there is a 'get more' option

If that doesn't work you can install add-ons via system->settings->add-ons

I was able to install network manager and its finding my wireless network. when i click on my wifi network its asking my encryption key after enterin that i click done and I keep getting "you have entered a malformed key" messgae

If you have special characters in the key remember to check that the keyboard setup isn't reponsible for you entering wrong keys Smile
Even though I've set it to Danish via SSH and set it to Western in XBMC it's still the US layout in XBMC Smile

I have only numeric in my key. And whatever I type that comes properly on the screen too. But after entering the key and pressing done, we are back to the original screen where it shows my wifi connection name and details. But there is no 'ok' or 'Done' button just Cancel is there. How to proceed from this window? or save my wifi connection? Screenshot attached.
