wifi setup
Hi all,
Just got my Raspberry Pi, and I know almost nothing on linux. setup of RasBMC was smooth and took only 15 minites, very happy with it. my problem is with wifi setup: I have a Ralink rt5370 USB wifi dongle. I think it's installed because when I type: $ iwlist wlan0 scan I get my wireless network name in the results (or is it quoting what is written in my /etc/network/interfaces file?) but when I type $ sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart I get: ignoring unknown interface wlan0=wlan0 I tried anything suggested in this forum and others, but nothing helps. |

RE: wifi setup
Hi there,
i think RC4 has better wifi compatibility. Hope it should go public very soon :-) So i would prefer to wait ;-) Greets, Michael |

RE: wifi setup
Turned out to be a one letter typo
working now on lxde (managed to surf the web) but not when I restart into xbmc - now wired ethernet doesn't work either. Ouch! Maybe some xbmc addon will help? |
