Mirror iPhone/Ipad to Raspberry PI?
Hi guys,

Not sure if this would be possible at all, but since you can use AirPlay to stream audio/video to the PI I was wondering is there anyway to mirror an IOS device to the PI like you can I using an Apple TV & an app like Reflector?

Thanks

RE: Mirror iPhone/Ipad to Raspberry PI?
Airplay mirroring is not a feature in XBMC today (it is actually very different from regular airplay where you "simply" share a link to play from).

RE: Mirror iPhone/Ipad to Raspberry PI?
Yes, no support from xbmc for mirroring.

There seems to be a solution on Pi for mirroring:

It doesn't look to be open source (and may end up being paid). They are taking on beta testers.

RE: Mirror iPhone/Ipad to Raspberry PI?
I spoke to the guy that popcornmix links to above.

Their solution was a deb package that could be installed, but they would not give us just an AirPlay mirroring package, and instead insisted on running services to perform the already integrated AirPlay functions XBMC has. Talks with the guy stalled unfortunately -- maybe when it's out of beta we will have more luck
